Impressionists created paintings by mimmicking something they see, such as a home. The painting is unique becuase the technique was to put multiple layers of light brushes in order to form the object. Color and lighting are extremely important in the process and the artist is very precise on how he/she approaches the paintings. How the lighting is presented is what makes the impressionist painting unique from others. The Artist is trying to get you to move your eyes from one place to the other.
